Rumours continue to circulate online that PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 will feature games from major Microsoft developers: we have already heard about Fable, Starfield, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Doom: The Dark Ages, and now, Perfect Dark by The Initiative has joined the list.

Here's What We Know

A job posting for a Principal Graphics Engineer at The Initiative, posted on 22 January, was spotted by @eXtas1stv. One of the key responsibilities is to "optimise and ensure scalability of rendering functions to support various platforms and quality settings" for Perfect Dark.

While this is not a direct confirmation, it is noteworthy given that the stealth action game is already scheduled to launch on PC and Xbox Series. The mention of multiple platforms may simply refer to different configurations on these systems, but with Microsoft reportedly planning to release more exclusives for PlayStation and Switch, speculation continues.

More news may come in the coming months, especially as Nintendo is rumoured to announce Switch 2 Direct in April.
