Electronic Arts to announce Batllefield testing on 3 February

Electronic Arts has announced an update to the Battlefield community testing programme, which will begin on 3 February at 18:00 EEC. This comes after a report from Insider-Gaming that said that playtesting for the upcoming Battlefield game will intensify ahead of big announcements in the coming months.
Here's What We Know
These tests reportedly include a multiplayer mode and a free battle royale mode developed by Ripple Effect. It is speculated that this may be due to the return of the Battlefield community test environment, which may be the focus of tomorrow's announcement. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates.
Although the next Battlefield instalment does not yet have an official title or release date, it is reportedly scheduled to launch in October 2025. The game aims to restore the former glory of the franchise after the unsuccessful debut of Battlefield 2042. Key features include a modern setting, maps for 64 players, and the return of traditional classes instead of specialists. Supported platforms remain unconfirmed, although Electronic Arts has expressed interest in the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
According to rumours, the game will feature 45 weapons, approximately 10 multiplayer maps, and a significantly revised environmental destruction system. In addition, players may be able to transport killed allies.
