Bloomberg: Apple's Vision Pro headsets will get support for PS VR2 Sense controllers as early as late 2025

In December 2024, Apple and Sony announced that they were working together to realise the possibility of connecting controllers from PlayStation VR2 to Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headsets, which are showing extremely low sales due to high cost and disinterest from the general public.
It looks like the plan of the two giants is close to realisation.
Here's What We Know
In the new issue of the weekly Power On news digest, authoritative insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reported that "Vision Pro will get controller support from PlayStation VR2 later this year".
The intentions of the Americans and Japanese to "friend" their devices are serious and this project is gradually being realised. Sony engineers spent several months to complete their part of the work, and Apple is in discussions with third-party developers about whether they will integrate support for PS VR2 controllers into their games.
Such co-operation is expected to improve the gaming experience on the Apple Vision Pro and make it an interesting platform for VR gaming enthusiasts.
It is likely that support for PS VR2 Sense controllers in Vision Pro will appear with the release of visionOS 3 in autumn 2025.
Recall, at the moment Apple Vision Pro is not compatible with third-party controllers, and Sony sells its devices only together with PS VR2. Perhaps the Japanese company will revise the sales concept and allow you to buy PS VR2 controllers separately.
