For retro gaming fans: Retroid may soon release a foldable handheld console called Pocket Flip 2

Retrogaming is a fairly niche hobby, but quite a few companies are supporting it. One such brand is Retroid, which released a foldable handheld console called Pocket Flip in 2023.
Of course, it hasn't been as successful as the Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck, for example, but it's enjoyed a steady popularity among retro gaming enthusiasts. But it seems that another interesting novelty from Retroid is waiting for them in the near future.
Here's What We Know
Popular blogger and author of YouTube channel Joey's Retro Handhelds reported that Retroid is developing Pocket Flip 2, but he doesn't give any details.
The console will likely retain the form factor of the first device, which in turn resembles the Nintendo DS, but without the second screen.

As a reminder, the first Pocket Flip received a 4.7-inch display, a Unisoc Tiger T618 chip and a 5,000 mAh battery. The console's technical capabilities are enough to run games from PlayStation 1 and 2, Sega Saturn and Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and GameCube.
Obviously, the Pocket Flip 2 will further expand the catalogue of retro games available.
