According to research firm Canalys, the phone ranked ninth on the list of the best-selling smartphones in the world. While iPhones dominated the list, taking 7 out of 10 places, the Galaxy S24 Ultra was the only Android flagship in this ranking.

Samsung also had success with other models, with the Galaxy A15 being the best-selling Android smartphone across all price categories, coming in at number four, while its 5G version took eighth place in the rankings. There were no high-end phones from Samsung on the list in 2023, making the success of the Galaxy S24 Ultra in 2024 even more significant.
Well, the top sellers last year were Apple smartphones. According to the ranking, the best-selling smartphone in the world was the iPhone 15. It was followed by iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which took the second and third places respectively. The iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 and iPhone 13 took the fifth, sixth, seventh and tenth places respectively.

It's worth noting that despite the powerful performance of Chinese flagship smartphones from companies like Honor, OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi, none of their high-end smartphones made it to this ranking in either 2023 or 2024.
