Xbox is rapidly losing exclusives: the strategy Age of Mythology: Retold will be released on PlayStation 5 as early as March
Microsoft and World's Edge Studios have revealed the release date for another Xbox exclusive on PlayStation 5.
This time it's about fantasy strategy game Age of Mythology: Retold.
Here's What We Know
Retold is a highly regarded remake of the famous 2002 RTS. The new version was released in September 2024 on Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC and received the Excellent remake of the cult RTS: critics praised Age of Mythology: Retold.
The developer said that the updated strategy will be released on PlayStation 5 on 4 March 2025 together with the Immortal Pillars add-on, which adds gods and fantastic creatures from Chinese mythology to the game.
The game is already available for pre-order on the PS Store. The Standard Edition will cost $29.99, while the Premium Edition will cost $49.99. For purchasing the expensive version, gamers will get access to Age of Mythology: Retold five days earlier.

Age of Empires fantasy spin-off is dedicated to the battles of mythological creatures and deities of Scandinavian, Greek and Egyptian Pantheons and was considered one of the best RTS of its time. In the remake the developers have improved all the elements of the famous game and enriched it with new mechanics. Three story campaigns and several multiplayer modes are available for gamers.
