Introduced Apple Invites, a handy app to help organise festive events
As reported by insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple has unveiled a new app for iCloud+ subscribers to help organise holidays and other events.
Here's What We Know
The app is called Apple Invites and will help users create and manage invitations for various events.
The application is already available in the App Store or in the browser on a special page icloud.com/invites.
Among the main features of Apple Invites are the following:
- users can create unique invitations for any occasion: birthdays, graduation parties, Gender-party, barbecues, housewarming parties and more;
- the app is integrated with iCloud, which allows users to create and send invitations, as well as track responses to them;
- invitees can add photos and videos to a shared album, making it easy to share the best moments of the event and preserve memories;
- Apple Music playlists can be used to create an event soundtrack to which guests can easily add their favourite tracks.
Importantly, not only can you invite a member of the Apple ecosystem, but also users of other devices.
A great option for Apple Invites will be integration with maps and weather forecasts: each guest will receive information about the location of the party with an indication of the route and weather forecast for the day of the event.
