Capcom announces Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remaster, releasing this year
At the end of Capcom Spotlight, the publisher announced a remaster of the hack-and-slash action-adventure Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, which is scheduled for release in 2025:
Here's What We Know
Currently, there are no details about the game, so we should expect further updates from the developers. If the remaster is similar to the previous version, fans can expect to see dubbed voice lines, widescreen support, and improved movement options.
Originally released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is still an exclusive for this platform. The game follows Jubei as he seeks revenge against Oda Nobunaga for the destruction of his clan. In addition to the familiar game mechanics, it introduced new elements such as a gift system that allows players to form alliances with different characters that can help further the plot.
Where To Play
Upon release, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remaster will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
