Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson has hinted at the possibility of releasing the popular EA Sports FC and Madden NFL franchises on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.

Here's What We Know

During the recent earnings report, Wilson noted that new consoles usually benefit the company by providing access to new players and communities. He emphasised that products such as FC and Madden can get "real energy" on this platform, as it was previously on other Nintendo devices.

Previously, EA was in no hurry to release its sports sims on the original Switch, limiting itself to only a handful of projects. However, given the success and popularity of the platform, the company may change its strategy for Switch 2. Wilson also mentioned the success of other EA projects on Nintendo platforms, noting that they often exceed expectations and attract new players.

It is also worth mentioning that Wilson regrets the abandonment of live elements in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
