Fans of The Last of Us can expect that the second season of the series will include violent material that was cut from the game due to. Co-creator of the series, Craig Mazin, noted that some scenes were too brutal for the game, but may find their place in the television adaptation.

Mazin emphasised that the TV format allows for a deeper exploration of certain aspects of the story and characters that were not fully revealed in the game. He also noted that some of these cut scenes can add new meaning to the plot and motivation of the characters.

The creators of the series have previously demonstrated their willingness to deviate from the original material by adding new storylines and characters. This allows us to expand the universe of The Last of Us.

It is also known that Abby in the second season of The Last of Us will be less muscular than in the game.

The second season of The Last of Us will continue the story five years after the events of the first season, and is scheduled to premiere in April on HBO Max.
