Nintendo is preparing to resist overbuying before the launch of Switch 2 and make sure that the console can be bought without problems

Nintendo's President Shuntaro Furukawa said that the company will take measures to prevent massive purchases of the new Switch 2 console by outsiders. He noted that, based on previous experience, Nintendo plans to provide a sufficient volume of consoles to meet the demand at the start of sales.
Here's What We Know
Earlier it was reported that the launch of Switch 2 was postponed to 2025 to avoid shortages and massive resales observed during the launch of previous consoles.
Analysts predict high demand for Switch 2. In particular, research firm Circana expects more than 4 million units to be sold in the US in 2025 if the console is released in the first half of the year. Another firm, DFC Intelligence, predicts that Switch 2 sales will exceed 80 million units by the end of 2028.
Nintendo has also confirmed that it will continue to support the original Switch after the launch of the new console as long as there is demand for it.
Hopefully, the console will be immediately available at a reasonable price, rather than waiting for at least two years.
