Capcom has lowered the system requirements of Monster Hunter Wilds and released a special benchmark on Steam

System requirements of Monster Hunter Wilds, published in autumn 2024, upset many gamers, but Capcom promised that it will try to reduce them by the release of the game.

Well, Japanese developers kept their word.

Here's What We Know

Capcom published updated system requirements, in which the minimum and recommended configurations became a little more affordable than they were originally.

The game still requires 16GB of RAM and 75GB on SSD, but now a GTX 1660-level graphics card and an Intel Core i5-10400 processor are enough to run it.

System Requirements

Minimum settings 1080p/30 fps (upscaled)

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10400, Intel Core i3-12100 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • graphics card: GeForce GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5500 XT
  • disc space: 75GB (SSD required).

Medium settings 1080p/60 fps (upscaling and frame generation)

  • OS: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10400, Intel Core i3-12100 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • graphics card: GeForce RTX 2060 Super, Radeon RX 6600
  • disc space: 75 GB (SSD is required).

High settings 1440p/60 fps (upscaling and frame generation)

  • OS: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10400, Intel Core i3-12100 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • graphics card: GeForce RTX 4060 Ti or Radeon RX 6700 XT
  • disc space: 75 GB (SSD required).

Ultra settings 4K/60 fps (upscaling and frame generation)

  • OS: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-11600K, Intel Core i5-12400 or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, AMD Ryzen 7 7700
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • graphics card: GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super or Radeon RX 7800 XT
  • disc space: 75 GB (SSD required).

In order for players to make sure their PC can handle Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom has released a special benchmark on Steam that will show how much performance a user can expect.

When We Can Expect It

Monster Hunter Wilds will release on 28 February 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
