Without registration and login: ChatGPT Search is now available to absolutely all users
OpenAI has announced the expanded availability of ChatGPT Search. Anyone can now use ChatGPT Search without the need for an account or login.
Here's What We Know
The tool was only available to paid subscribers last autumn and towards the end of the year to free logged in users, but now it is available to absolutely everyone. ChatGPT Search allows you to search for information on the web and get quick and timely answers with links to relevant web sources right in your chat.

In most cases, ChatGPT will automatically search the web for the most relevant information related to the user's question. The chatbot can also be made to search the web for information by clicking the "Search" button under the tooltip bar.
This announcement could mean that OpenAI is poised to overtake Google's search dominance, though perhaps its main focus right now is to stay ahead of new AI players like DeepSeek.
On top of that, the company recently unveiled a new, "reasoning" artificial intelligence model called o3-mini, which is completely free, and also announced a new ChatGPT feature called Deep Research that can generate reports from hundreds of online sources.
