Try it before you buy: Nintendo releases free demo of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
Nintendo has released a free demo of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD on the eShop, allowing Switch users to try the game before purchasing. The demo includes the first world, the Jungle, with access to the first three levels.
Here's What We Know
According to Nintendo Life, the demo only has a modern mode, which simplifies the gameplay. However, the progress will not be transferred to the full version of the game. The full version contains the original mode, which offers a more challenging experience with fewer hearts and stricter inventory restrictions, similar to the original Wii U release.
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD was released last month, marking its debut on Switch. The remaster features improved graphics, Joy-Con support, and all the content from the Nintendo 3DS port. This includes a modern mode and eight additional levels in a brand new world.
