Paradox Interactive acquires Surviving Mars developer Haemimont Games
Paradox Interactive has announced the acquisition of the Bulgarian studio Haemimont Games, known for the development of Surviving Mars, several Tropico games and Jagged Alliance 3.

Haemimont Games will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Paradox. The current management and employees of the studio will keep their positions, and the development of current projects will continue unchanged. The deal includes an initial cash payment, as well as additional payments dependent on the studio's future success.
Paradox Interactive is known for its focus on strategy and management simulation games, and this acquisition underscores its commitment to strengthening its position in this genre. Previously, Haemimont Games collaborated with Paradox on the game Surviving Mars, which received positive reviews from critics and players.
