Ukraine receives another batch of F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands

Today we have already reported that Ukraine has received the first batch of French Mirage 2000-5F multi-role fighters.
But this is not all good news for the Ukrainian Air Force.
Here's What We Know
Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov said that the Netherlands has handed over another batch of F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a long-awaited reinforcement - the first French Mirage 2000 and F-16 fighter jets from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. These modern fighting machines are already in Ukraine and will soon start performing combat missions, strengthening our defence and ability to effectively counter Russian aggression.
It is not known how many vehicles have been transferred to Ukraine by both sides, but any number will be a tremendous support in repelling Russian aggression.
Flashback
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multi-role fighter jet developed by General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) in the 1970s. It is widely used in over 25 countries and is one of the most popular and versatile aircraft in the world. The F-16 features a single/dual-seat cockpit with excellent visibility, a powerful Pratt Whitney F100 or General Electric F110 turbojet engine, and advanced weapons control and avionics systems.
The F-16 is capable of a variety of combat missions, including air superiority, close air support, strike missions, and reconnaissance. Its high manoeuvrability and ability to carry a variety of weapons make it a valuable asset in combat operations. The aircraft can be equipped with a variety of air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, as well as guided bombs.
Thanks to constant upgrades, including improvements in navigation and weapons systems, the F-16 continues to be an effective combat platform.
