Huawei to launch Mate XT Ultimate Tri-Fold smartphone on the international market on 18 February
Huawei has announced an Innovative Product Launch event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 18 February 2025, where the company will unveil its first Tri-Fold smartphone, the Mate XT Ultimate.

This device, which was first introduced in China in September 2024, will be available in international markets.
The Mate XT Ultimate, which has already attracted attention in China, will be the world's first smartphone with three folding screens. Details about the price and availability of this device in other countries have not yet been disclosed, but the company is expected to announce it during the presentation on 18 February.
As a reminder, the Mate XT Ultimate smartphone has a unique design that allows users to open it up three times, opening up new opportunities for multitasking and ease of use.

Huawei did not disclose which countries will be the first to receive the new product and what its price will be, but everything will be revealed at the upcoming presentation. However, you can already check out our first impressions of the Mate XT Ultimate.
The Mate XT Ultimate Design features a 10.2-inch 3K OLED display that can be folded down to 7.9-inch and 6.4-inch screens. Despite the folding design with two hinges and three layers, the device remains thin, almost like the Galaxy Fold 6. Huawei has managed to incorporate flagship specs and a powerful battery, as well as an attractive camera with variable aperture.
The smartphone can also be partially expanded to a screen size of 7.9 inches.
