For this year, Samsung wants to sell 40 million Galaxy S25 series smartphones worldwide, 3 million more than the total Galaxy S24 sales

Korean company Samsung plans to sell 40 million Galaxy S25 series smartphones in 2025. This is 10% or 3 million more than the number of devices sold Galaxy S24 series last year.
Here's What We Know
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Galaxy S25's shipment target is around 40 million units. Since Samsung sold 37 million units of the Galaxy S24 series last year, the company plans to improve that figure by 10 per cent this year.
The company has already reported that the Galaxy S25 series has received a record 1.3 million pre-orders in South Korea, which is 7 per cent more than the Galaxy S24 series in the same period. Samsung expects global sales to be satisfactory as well, allowing it to reach its target.
All three models in the Galaxy S25 series (Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra) are powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM. The smartphones also received an updated One UI 7.0 user interface, new Galaxy AI features and 7 major Android OS updates. It's quite possible that the new lineup will break the sales record of its predecessors Galaxy S24.
