Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone SE 4, and its presentation could take place as early as next week, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Here's What We Know

According to sources, the new budget iPhone will be announced in the coming days, and sales will start later this month.

It is expected that Apple will not hold a separate event to announce the iPhone SE 4, which indicates that there are no other new devices at this stage.

The main change will be an updated design: the iPhone SE 4 will have a full-screen display without a Home button, Face ID instead of Touch ID, and a USB-C port instead of Lightning. The smartphone will have an A18 chip and look like the iPhone 14.

It is also expected to support Apple Intelligence, an artificial intelligence feature that is already available in the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 series.

An important update will affect mobile modems. For the first time, Apple may use its own chip for cellular communication, replacing the Qualcomm solution.

Earlier it was reported that the iPhone SE 4 might be presented in March, but now its release is expected much earlier. In addition, Apple is working on other new products, including the MacBook Air based on the M4 chip and the 11th generation iPad.

It is expected that the new iPhone SE 4 will have a notch, but not the Dynamic Island feature, as some sources had previously suggested. Well-known analyst Ross Young said that the smartphone will have a "notch similar to the iPhone 14", which contradicts a recent leak that showed the Dynamic Island.
