The total number of copies of GTA V sold reached 210 million, Red Dead Redemption 2 - over 70 million
This autumn, the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, immersing players in the adventures of sunny Vice City. However, the previous game in the series continues to make progress even 12 years after its release - recently it became known that it has crossed another milestone.

According to the latest financial report of Take-Two, as of 31 December 2024, the total number of copies of GTA V sold reached 210 million, which is 5 million more than at the end of the last quarter. This is quite a good result for a 12-year-old game, isn't it? And the total number of copies sold of the entire Great Car Heist series exceeded 440 million.
The report also revealed the results of another very successful Rockstar game - Red Dead Redemption 2. According to the latest data, the Wild West-themed action adventure game has sold more than 70 million copies worldwide in the six years since its release, an increase of about 3 million compared to the previous quarter. The total number of copies sold of all RDR titles reached 95 million copies.
