According to Bloomberg, Rocksteady studio, known for its Batman: Arkham series, is working on a new single-player game about Batman.

Here's What We Know

The new game is not a remaster or a remake of the previous parts but a full-fledged new project in the Batman universe. Sony has shown interest in this project and is rumoured to be seeking exclusive rights for PlayStation. However, there is no official confirmation from Rocksteady or Sony at the moment.

It is worth noting that after the release of Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, many key developers left the studio. This raises questions about whether the new team will be able to recreate the success of the previous games in the series.

Currently, there is no information about the plot, gameplay, or release date of the new game. If development has indeed begun, the game is in the early stages of production, and fans will have to be patient while waiting for official announcements.

As a reminder, Wonder Woman game development was restarted in 2024, and its budget exceeded $100 million
