Chinese electric car manufacturers Geely and Voyah have announced the integration of DeepSeek artificial intelligence technology into their models.

Here's What We Know

Geely, which owns the Volvo, Polestar, and Zeekr brands, is developing its own AI system called Full-Domain AI for Smart Vehicles. It is expected to become an important part of the driving experience, enabling voice commands and fully autonomous driving. In addition, this technology will help the company improve its new products.

Geely aims to make its artificial intelligence friendlier, more responsive, and constantly improving. To this end, the company has turned to DeepSeek to improve its AI model. Data from DeepSeek will be used to improve Geely's system, which will allow it to create a new generation of cars with enhanced connected capabilities.

The Chinese manufacturer Voyah (a division of Dongfeng Motors) also announced the integration of DeepSeek into its Courage (Zhiyin in the local market) and Dream MPV models. These models will be the first on the market with DeepSeek technology.

The Courage model will receive the update over-the-air on 14 February. The update will provide opportunities to create poetry, draw, communicate and receive real-time information.

Other Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers are also planning to implement the DeepSeek model. Xpeng's CEO told employees that DeepSeek's technology, which is affordable, opens up new opportunities for the company.
