During the first Samsung Unpacked event of this year, the company hinted at the new Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone, a thinner member of the lineup that will become one of the most anticipated new products.

Here's What We Know

Despite the fact that the official announcement has not yet taken place, a series of "confirmed" specifications of this phone have appeared on the network.

According to a PandaFlash insider, the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a 12-megapixel front-facing camera and very narrow bezels with a thickness of only 1.32 mm. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the body is made of Armor aluminium. The new device will have Wi-Fi 7 support, as well as support for Pro Scaler technology.

The smartphone will be equipped with a pair of innovative components: a steam chamber for better cooling, which will be thinner than the Galaxy S25, and an LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. The peak brightness will be 2600 nits, and for connectivity and data transfer, a USB Type-C 3.2 port and Bluetooth 5.4 support are provided. The amount of RAM will be 12 GB, and the internal storage will be based on UFS 4.0.

One of the biggest new features will be the 200-megapixel main camera, probably borrowed from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The phone will also support 25W charging via wires.

The exact launch date is not yet known, but it is likely to be announced in May. Samsung has already partially shown the design of the Galaxy S25 Edge at the Unpacked event, but the details have not yet been revealed. The price is likely to be between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra models.
