Ambitious action-RPG Empyreal will soon get a demo: the developers told about the main features of the game and invited Steam Next Fest
British studio Silent Games continues to draw attention to its hardcore action-RPG Empyreal, which was announced in autumn 2024. The developer announced great news for those who would like to try out the novelty.
Here's What We Know
As part of Steam Next Fest, which will be held from 24 February to 3 March, gamers will be offered a free demo of Empyreal. It will feature three fighting styles and 50 abilities that can be used in fights with several types of enemies.
In the Empyreal demo, players will be able to try out all three weapon types, as well as choose from several armour and skill sets. They'll also be able to explore two locations and even catch a glimpse of some late-stage items to see what rare loot awaits them when the game is fully released in late 2025.
In addition, the action creators have published the first instalment of Empyreal's development video diary, showing gameplay footage and briefly reminiscing about the game's main features.

Here's how the developers describe the plot outline
In a remote corner of the galaxy on a previously uncharted planet an expedition arrives to find a huge Monolith built by a lost civilisation. These are no ordinary ruins - the Monolith is full of dangers, and the expedition is not ready to unlock its secrets.
All eyes are on an elite mercenary who can succeed where all others have failed. Go inside the Monolith and face the Automatons still lurking there - the remnants of an unimaginably ancient civilisation that built this impenetrable structure. Fight for your life and experience an epiphany that will change our understanding of what it means to be human.
When We Can Expect It
Empyreal is expected to release in late 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
