The co-author of the cult trilogy Back to the Future, Bob Gale, has announced that a new video game based on the film is being developed.
Here's What We Know
In an interview with cleveland.com, he said: "We have a chance for a new video game based on Back to the Future. I can't tell you more because I'm not authorised to do so, but it's something I've wanted for a long time. I hope it will happen."
Gale also mentioned that 2025 will mark the 40th anniversary of the first film. Special events are planned to mark the occasion, as well as a documentary about the creation of a musical based on the trilogy.
Earlier in 2010, Telltale Games released the episodic game Back to the Future: The Game, which received favourable reviews. The game consisted of five episodes and was available on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 3, and iOS.
