Samsung has released a new software update for the flagship Galaxy S24 series. However, this update will disappoint many users as it doesn't include the much-awaited One UI 7 (Android 15) update. Instead, the update only contains the latest security patches for February 2025.

Here's What We Know

The update is already available in South Korea and will be rolling out to other regions soon. The size of the update is 455MB and it aims to fix security vulnerabilities without adding any new features to the system. The new software has been given the firmware number S928NKSS4AYA1.

It was previously reported that Samsung plans to release the fourth beta update of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series soon, but the stable version is likely to arrive only a few weeks later. While users of other One UI 7-compliant Galaxy devices can expect the update in March at the earliest.
