Resident Evil 5 will get an update after all: new age rating indirectly confirmed Capcom's plans

On the network there was repeatedly appeared information that Capcom plans to release an updated version of Resident Evil 5. The Japanese developer did not comment on this information, but today there was a convincing confirmation of the truth of these rumours.

Here's What We Know

The ESRB has given an age rating to the Xbox Series version of Resident Evil 5. The 2009 co-operative horror game has never been released on modern platforms and the rating indicates that Capcom may announce a remake or remaster of the game in the near future.

It is likely that an updated version of Resident Evil 5 will not only be available on the Xbox Series, but will also be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. There is a strong possibility that the game will be announced at the State of Play show, which is rumoured to take place on February 14.

Like the original game, the Resident Evil 5 remake/remaster is not recommended for anyone under the age of 17.
