The popular communication platform Discord has introduced a new feature called Ignore, which allows you to not receive notifications or see messages from a person without having to block them.

The Ignore feature allows you to hide messages and notifications from selected users. Unlike blocking, ignored users won't know their messages are hidden and will still be able to see your messages and send you private messages, which you won't see until you choose to show them.
To use this feature, you need to go to the user's profile, click on the three-dot menu, and select the "Ignore" option.
In addition, Discord has announced the creation of a non-profit organisation called ROOST (Robust Open Online Safety Tools) in collaboration with companies such as OpenAI, Google, and Roblox. The aim of this initiative is to develop free, open-source tools to ensure online safety, including the detection of child sexual abuse material.
