Samsung updated Galaxy Fold 6 and Fold SE in South Korea: February security patch is now available

Samsung continues to update its flagship smartphones and has released the February 2025 security patch for Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Fold Special Edition.
Here's What We Know
Currently, the update has been applied to versions of the devices sold in South Korea with model numbers SM-F956N and SM-F958N. They received firmware with the numbers F956NKSS2AYAA and F958NKSS2AYAA.
The February patch addresses a number of vulnerabilities, improving the security of smartphones. Samsung is expected to roll out the update to other variants of these devices in the coming weeks.
How To Switch It On
To check for the update, go to Settings, Software Update, Download and Install.
Galaxy Fold 6 and Fold SE users are also looking forward to the release of One UI 7.0 based on Android 15. However, Samsung has not yet announced when this update for foldable smartphones will be available.
Currently, the stable version of One UI 7 is only available for the new Galaxy S25 series. However, the update will soon be available for other devices, including the Galaxy S24, which has been testing One UI 7 for several months now.
Mobile gamers using the Samsung Galaxy S25 can appreciate the new features in One UI 7 that allow for fine-tuning the frame rate through the Game Launcher and Game Booster apps. One of the new options is "Smooth Game Moves", which allows you to choose between 120Hz and 60Hz modes for games that don't have their own refresh rate settings.
