Sega may show Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds during State of Play, rumours suggest
Sega presented Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at The Game Awards in December with a short teaser trailer. Now, perhaps, a more detailed reveal of the game is not far off.
Here's What We Know
Sony has scheduled a 40-minute State of Play presentation on 12 February, where Sonic Racing may appear: CrossWorlds may appear. It is noteworthy that Sonic Team producer Joel Youkhanna fuels speculation by tweeting: "Oh look, a new State of Play. #knowingsmile", shortly after the announcement. The tweet was quickly deleted, but did not have time to spark widespread discussion among fans.
If the game is shown again, the key question will be whether Sega will announce a release date or launch window. With Sega's busy 2024 lineup coming to an end, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds can be positioned as a major upcoming game.
