A Geekbench test has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will come with a full Snapdragon 8 Elite chip rather than its 7-core version

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, expected to be launched in April or May this year, has appeared in Geekbench database.
Here's What We Know
The device with model number SM-S937B, which is supposed to be the global version of the S25 Edge, scored 2,806 points in the single-core test and 8,416 points in the multi-core test. Geekbench revealed that the smartphone will feature an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor and 12GB of RAM. Previously, there were rumours that the S25 Edge would use a seven-core version of this chip, but the new test refutes these claims.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is rumoured to be Samsung's thinnest and lightest phone in a long time, with a thickness of 5.84mm and weighing less than 160 grams. The device is expected to rank between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in terms of price and specs.
It was previously reported that the S25 Edge will also feature a 6.7-inch display, a 200-megapixel camera and a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging. However, there is no official confirmation of this information yet.
