Oppo has released a new promo video showing off the ruggedness and water resistance of the Find N5 foldable smartphone.

The device, despite its thinness (each half is only 4.2mm thick), turned out to be quite durable. The video shows how the smartphone easily survives in various situations.
Special attention is paid to the Find N5's water resistance. The smartphone will be the world's first foldable device with IPX9 rating, which means protection against hot water jets. It is also rated IPX6 and IPX8, offering protection against water jets and immersion in water. The video also showcases the device's drop resistance and the durability of the hinge.
The Oppo Find N5 will be officially unveiled on 20 February. The OnePlus Open 2 is expected to be based on the same hardware but will be available in different regions unlike the Find N5, which is likely to launch only in China.
