Samsung's new Galaxy A26 5G smartphone has been certified by the FCC, indicating that it is approaching a global launch.

Here's What We Know

The SM-A266U model has been certified with the A3LSMA266U identifier, which confirms that it is ready for the market.

The smartphone will support a wide range of 5G frequencies: n2, n5, n25, n30, n66, n71, n41, n48, n77 and n78. This enables users to enjoy high-speed mobile internet in different countries.

According to the FCC database, the Galaxy A26 5G will support GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G, GNSS, NFC, and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n/a/ac) technologies. The smartphone will also have an SD card slot and Bluetooth 5.3 support.

According to the certification, the smartphone will support 25W fast charging with the EP-T2510 adapter.

Other variants of the phone, such as SM-A266U1 and SM-S266V, were also recorded in the certifications. In addition, the Galaxy A26 5G has already been certified by TUV Rheinland, which confirms the possibility of wired fast charging.

New rumours have emerged regarding the device's specifications. The Galaxy A26 5G is expected to have a 6.64 or 6.7-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be equipped with an Exynos 1280 chip, as well as up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. A 4565 mAh battery will be responsible for power supply.
