Insider: Samsung is developing a Tri-Fold smartphone that folds twice like a book

Recently, there was information about the screen size of the Samsung Tri-Fold smartphone, which is yet to be announced. At the Galaxy S25 launch event, Samsung shared some news about new phones, including the development of a smartphone that folds three times.
Here's What We Know
Users have been reading about this device in insider blogs for some time, but there have been few specific details about it so far.
The screen of the smartphone, which folds three times (or twice, since the device actually folds only twice), opens up to 10 inches.

According to the latest data from analyst Ross Young, the outer screen of this phone, as well as the Galaxy Fold 7, will measure 6.49 inches. This is almost the same size as the special edition Galaxy Fold. This indicates that Samsung is abandoning the narrow outer screen that we saw in the Galaxy Fold 6 and older models of foldable smartphones.
Regardless of the size of the external screen, it's important that it's there. Unlike Huawei, where the screen of the Tri-Fold smartphone is left open, Samsung is taking the right approach, and its foldable display will be protected from damage.
According to the Flex G concept, which can be seen in the image, the upcoming device will look like a book that is folded twice, depending on how often the user wants to use the external screen.
