Germany to hand over about 100 IRIS-T guided missiles to Ukraine

Ukraine will receive about 100 guided missiles for the IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system from Germany in the near future. This was announced by the German Mission to NATO after the 26th meeting of the Contact Group on Defence of Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
Germany has confirmed its continued military support for Ukraine, including through the supply of IRIS-T missiles. The mission also emphasised the importance of joint ventures with the Ukrainian defence industry, which develop drones and maintain infantry fighting vehicles and tanks.
According to the German Aid to Ukraine monitoring project, this is likely to be missiles, the delivery of which was announced earlier. For example, on 9 January, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius announced the transfer of 50 IRIS-T missiles, and on 14 January, another 60 units were announced during his visit to Kyiv. In total, the country can provide 110 missiles.
Future support for #Ukraine in the form of materiel and military training was confirmed at today's #UDCG meeting of over 50 nations.
