Kia has revealed teasers of the new EV2, EV4 and PV5 electric cars ahead of the official premiere
Kia has announced an EV Day event to be held on 27 February in Tarragona, Spain. There the South Korean carmaker will show three new electric cars: EV2, EV4 and PV5. In the meantime, the company has published a teaser video of the three new products.
Here's What We Know
The main star of the presentation will be the Kia EV4, which has already shone on tests and was previously shown in the form of a concept. The model will be available in sedan and hatchback body styles with the signature "Opposites United" design. Technical details will be known later, but according to preliminary information the model will receive batteries for 58.3 and 81.4 kW∙h, as well as a front electric motor with 204 hp (150 kW) and 283 Nm of torque.
Next up is the Kia PV5, an electric van that should combine bold design with a practical interior.
And for dessert, the Kia EV2 compact electric crossover concept. Judging by the teaser images, it will get a plastic dodger, "pseudo-protective" covers and rear lights with a 3D effect. The teaser video gives an idea of vertical headlights and smooth body with relief elements. We'll have to wait until the end of February to find out more about Kia's electric new products.
