Apple CEO Tim Cook intrigued social media users with a new announcement. In his post, he wrote: "Get ready to meet a new family member" and added the hashtag #AppleLaunch.

Here's What We Know

The post was accompanied by a short video showing an animated Apple logo inside a circle. However, the company has not yet disclosed any details about the time or the product itself.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the most likely announcement is the new iPhone SE. Earlier, he reported that Apple plans to present the device next week. It is expected that the updated model will receive an A18 chip, a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, USB-C instead of Lightning, and support for Apple Intelligence.

Will there be something else new? Rumours indicate that Apple is preparing to release new MacBook Air, iPad Air, and the base iPad in the coming weeks. Also, in 2025, we can expect an updated AirTag, a new smart hub for controlling home devices, and possibly other gadgets.

This time, Apple does not seem to be holding a large-scale presentation, but will make the announcement in the format of a press release in the Newsroom. Video announcements on YouTube are also possible, as was the case in October 2024, when the company introduced new Macs on M4 chips.

Apple has recently announced the release of new Powerbeats Pro 2 headphones, which will go on sale on 13 February 2025. As it became known, the new headphones will receive a firmware update that will be available from the first day.

It remains to wait six days to find out what exactly Apple is preparing.
