Samsung said that not all features of the new One UI 7.0 will be available on older Galaxy models. As noted by the head of Samsung's software department, Sally, the company took two to three years to develop this system, and some of its features require more powerful and advanced hardware.

Here's What We Know

For example, the Now Brief feature, which shows up-to-date information depending on the time of day, relies on Samsung's Personal Data Engine. It requires a powerful neural processing unit (NPU) to work properly, making it inaccessible to older phones.

On the other hand, Circle to Search requires cloud resources and can be supported even on older and budget devices. Specific inaccessible features of One UI 7.0 were not mentioned, probably because the company is working on making these features as compatible as possible for previous smartphone models.
