It's official: OnePlus Open 2 foldable smartphone won't be released this year

OnePlus has announced that it will not release a new version of its OnePlus Open foldable smartphone in 2025.
Here's What We Know
The OnePlus Open 2 was expected to be an international variant of the Oppo Find N5, but the company has decided to revise its plans. OnePlus Open product manager, Vale G., said that the company is shelving its foldable device plans to relaunch innovation. According to the spokesperson, the move will allow OnePlus to focus on developing products that can set new standards and challenge current trends in the market.
Meanwhile, existing OnePlus Open users will continue to receive regular software updates and security patches.
On the other hand, we can now expect that the Oppo Find N5 may well expand beyond China and become a global model. However, it is worth waiting for official information in this regard.
