Samsung is preparing to release new mid-range smartphones. Following the leak of official renders of the Galaxy A56 5G, images of the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G have been posted online.

Here's What We Know

Well-known insider Evan Blass and @MysteryLupin published renders of the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G, showing an updated design and new colours.

The Galaxy A36 5G has an updated design: three cameras are now placed together in an oval block instead of separate lenses, as in the Galaxy A35 5G. The smartphone has flat edges and the volume and power buttons are on the right side. The front camera is built into a round notch in the display, and the bezels are thin, although the bottom is slightly wider.

The Galaxy A36 5G is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, have a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen, a 50MP main camera, and a 5000mAh battery with support for up to 45W charging.

The low-cost Galaxy A26 5G also has an updated design, but with thicker screen bezels and a notch at the top for the front camera instead of a hole. In addition, it lacks the spectacular colour gradients of the older model. It is known that its display will be slightly larger than its predecessor - 6.6 inches.

Both smartphones are expected to go on sale in March.

Galaxy A26 5G with 5G support and 25W fast charging has been certified by the FCC. According to the FCC's database, the Galaxy A26 5G will support GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G, GNSS, NFC, and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n/a/ac). The smartphone will also have an SD card slot and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
