The European version of the Lexus NX gets a new Overtrail version with a hint of SUV style

Lexus decided to join the fashionable wave of "off-road" versions of crossovers and presented NX Overtrail. But, if you were waiting for a real all-terrain vehicle, you'll have to lower your expectations a bit.
Here's What We Know
The main changes in the Overtrail are new Dunlop Grandtrek tyres, 18-inch wheels and +15mm of ground clearance. The increased ground clearance is certainly noticeable from the side, but globally it's still the same NX, which is more used to shopping centre car parks than mountain passes.

Lexus has added a lot of black decor: darkened discs, roof rails, door handles, mirror housings, grille. A new Moon Desert colour has been added to the bodywork. In the interior - black synthetic leather with contrasting inserts and wooden overlays on the door panels. In addition, a special Trail for travelling on loose surfaces has been added to the list of transmission modes.

Mechanically, everything remains unchanged. The NX Overtrail is available in the NX 350h (hybrid), NX 450h+ (plug-in hybrid) and in some markets also in the NX 350 (petrol). In Germany, prices for the Lexus NX Overtrail 350h hybrid with 4x4 all-wheel drive start at €72,700, while the plug-in hybrid NX 450h+ has a minimum price tag of €73,740.
