The best game of the year according to DICE Awards 2025 was Astro Bot platformer. It was competed by Helldivers 2 and Balatro
The DICE Awards 2025 ceremony took place, where the best games are determined by a professional jury consisting of developers and subject matter experts.
Here's What We Know
Like at many other similar events last year, the triumphant of DICE Awards 2025 was the platformer Astro Bot from Sony and Team Asobi studio - it won in 5 categories and was named "Best Game of the Year".
The second most awarded game was co-operative shooter Helldivers 2 - it has four awards, while one of 2024's discoveries - Balatro was named Best Indie Game, Best Mobile Game and Best Strategy/Simulation.
