Finland plans to invest in the production of heavy armoured vehicles for Ukraine's needs
Finland is preparing a new package of military aid for Ukraine, including plans to invest in the production of heavy armoured vehicles.

This was announced by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov on Facebook after the 26th meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group in Brussels.
What kind of armoured vehicles will be produced and the mechanism of their financing have not yet been disclosed. In Finland, armoured vehicles are manufactured by Patria.

Finland traditionally does not disclose details of its military aid packages for security reasons. The latest package, announced by Finnish Defence Minister Antti Hakkänen on 31 January, is estimated at €200 million.
On 22 January, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced future Finnish assistance to Ukraine after his meeting with President Alexander Stubb. The total amount of military support provided by Finland has already reached €2.5 billion.
