Here's What We Know

Given the high popularity of these glasses, the manufacturer plans to significantly increase its annual production capacity.

Francesco Milleri, CEO of EssilorLuxottica, called the Meta smart glasses a "great success". He also added that the retention rate of users of these glasses is increasing over time. The company now plans to increase the production of Ray-Ban Meta to more than 10 million units per year by the end of 2026.

Meta actively promotes its smart glasses by engaging celebrities for advertising campaigns during the Super Bowl. The brand hopes that such a strong marketing campaign will drive further sales growth in 2025. Meta has also hired the former CEO of luxury website The RealReal as its new vice president of gadget retail.

Meta's next smartphones may have a display. The company is working on a new model that is likely to get a small screen to display notifications and visual reactions of Meta AI. These glasses could hit the market in the second half of 2025, and details about the new product are likely to emerge in the coming weeks.

Meta recently warned women about scammers posing as successful people and asking for money.
