In 2023, Sony and Haven Studios, founded by ex-Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond, announced Fairgame$, an online shooter about organising daring heists.

Since then there was no news about the game, but it was supposed to be released in 2025.

Here's What We Know

Reputable insider Jeff Grubb said on the Game Mess Decides podcast that the developer has made a non-public decision to delay the release of Fairgame$ to 2026.

The journalist didn't explain the reasons for this decision, but since Fairgame$ is a service game (one of the few that Sony hasn't cancelled yet), it's not hard to guess that the company is afraid of a failure similar to the one that Concord shooter died without regaining consciousness: Sony shuts down servers of failed game and refunds money. In addition, the public was immediately sceptical about the announcement of a shooter from Haven and such a reaction does not add optimism to Sony either.

Fairgame$ will be available on PS5 and PC.
