The 10:10 Games studio, known for the development of Funko Fusion, has made layoffs. Interestingly, the developers are not provided with severance pay, and some of them found out about the layoffs during their holidays.

Here's What We Know

In mid-January, 10:10 Games management announced the reduction of 19 positions, promising "full support" in finding a new job. However, according to Insider Gaming, this support was never provided.

Some employees found out about their dismissal during the leave they had been advised to take. Nevertheless, they were obliged to participate in consultation meetings, even if they were abroad in different time zones.

After the dismissal process was completed in late January, the company did not provide severance pay to the employees, limiting them to "minimum legal payments", including payment for unused vacation time. This raised suspicions that the management had planned the layoffs in advance and encouraged employees to take leave to avoid additional payments.

The reason for the layoffs was the commercial failure of the Funko Fusion game, which meant that the studio was unable to secure funding for future projects. The layoffs affected mostly rank-and-file employees, while the management remained in their positions.
