Quantum Systems plans to double production of drones in Ukraine

German company Quantum Systems intends to increase the production of unmanned systems in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine on Facebook.
Here's What We Know
At the Munich Security Conference, representatives of the Ministry of Strategic Industries met with the management of Quantum Systems. The parties discussed accelerating the production of drones, their quality, and further strengthening the Ukrainian Defence Forces with locally produced drones.
Two of the company's enterprises are already operating in Ukraine - the RD Centre and the drone maintenance and development unit. Localised assembly of drones is also underway.
"We are strengthening our partners and helping them at all stages. We are all interested in the same result - as many high-quality weapons for the Ukrainian army as possible. I thank Quantum Systems for your courage and consistency in your work," said Minister of Strategic Industries German Smetanin.
The localisation of Quantum Systems' drone production in Ukraine was announced in August 2024. At the time, it was reported that the Ukrainian Quantum Systems plant had started operations in the spring and was already producing Vector reconnaissance drones for the Ukrainian army.
The company is assembling drones from kits supplied by Germany, gradually localising individual structural elements. The drones are currently being equipped with wings and CRPA antennas made in Ukraine. In the future, the company plans to start manufacturing fuselages and other parts.
