Ukraine receives 1.6 million pieces of ammunition thanks to Czech initiative
Czech President Petr Pavel said that Ukraine had received 1.6 million pieces of artillery ammunition over the course of the Czech initiative.

At the Munich Security Conference, he said that funding for the supply was secured until April, and work in this direction would continue.
"We have received enough resources from our allies to cover Ukraine's needs until April this year. I also discussed with our partners the possibility of additional funding during the conference," Pavel said.

The Czech Republic has used its diplomatic and industrial capabilities to find and purchase large-calibre ammunition around the world. Funding is provided by NATO allies.
According to Reuters, the 1.6 million rounds include 155mm ammunition as well as other rounds larger than 100mm.
