DreamWorks has launched a sequel to the successful animated film Wild Robot
After the massive success of the animated film Wild Robot, it was only a matter of time before a sequel was in the works. And Deadline reports that a sequel is definitely in the works.
Here's What We Know
The film, based on the book of the same name by Peter Brown, tells the story of a robot named Roz, who finds himself on a desert island and learns to survive among the wild. The film premiered in October 2024 and quickly gained popularity among audiences, grossing over $300 million at the global box office.
The sequel is likely to be based on the second book in the series, titled Rise of the Wild Robot, where Roz faces new challenges in the human world as she tries to return home. Although plot details and release date have not yet been disclosed.
