Ubisoft is not going to end support for the network shooter Rainbow Six Siege and reported about important innovations that will soon appear in the game.

Here's What We Know

First of all, the developer invited fans of the shooter to the presentation of Rainbow Six Siege X, which will take place on 13 March at 18:00 CET. Under this title lies the biggest update in the history of the game, which will lay the foundation for its further development for another 10 years.

The R6 team has worked tirelessly to deliver the biggest transformation in the game's history. It aims to cement Rainbow Six Siege's position at the pinnacle of tactical first-person shooters by introducing new ways to play the game, in-depth tactical gameplay, enhanced gameplay experiences and major global changes.

The developer also revealed the first details of the first season of the 10th year of support. It is called Operation Prep Phase and will introduce a new operative into the game - Rauora from New Zealand. The heroine is loyal to the traditions of the Maori people, works as a volunteer firefighter and is fond of rugby.

The main feature of Rauora will be a special device - Deployable Omnilink Mesh (DOM) launcher, which can be used to attach bulletproof barriers to doorways, which helps to block the enemy's passage and control the course of the battle.
